I thought those of you in the Bay Area may have heard that the Berkeley
Repertory Theatre's scene shop burned to the ground last week. This is
where I've worked for the past three years, and where the theater built
and painted all their scenery.
The whole thing is completely bizarre to me, as I'm working (as I do
every summer) in Cooperstown NY. I've got a continent between me and
my charred stuff...
